We understand the importance of a good start to education.

Here at The Northport Nursery School children are encouraged to explore and ask questions. We try to excite their curiosity about the world around them.

However, we are even more concerned about the children's social and emotional growth. We feel these areas are of primary importance and will set the stage for later intellectual development. We want to help them relate warmly to other children, to find pleasure in discovering new skills, to help them understand their feelings and deal with them constructively, to develop self-discipline and to learn to like themselves.
